The basic part number of the slurry pump bearing assembly is 005, also called rotor assembly. It has a large diameter shaft with a short overhang, minimizing deflection and vibration. Only four through bolts are required to hold the cartridge-type housing in the frame. It is the main component of the drive end to transmit power to the impeller. The bearing assembly is to connect the pump and motor of a whole complete working system. Its stability will directly affect the pump working and pump service life. For some end suction centrifugal pumps, the impeller is threaded on to the shaft, and locked in place with a bolt. If that pump is ran for any length of time, getting the impeller off is more difficult than just un-screwing it by hand. Usually it is required to use a bar and “break” the impeller off the shaft. A centrifugal feeder is a feeding unit that can be used when feeding even the most awkward shaped components at high efficiency and speed, whilst reducing the risk of damaging the component. The centrifugal feeder consists of a conical central driven rotor surrounded by a circular bowl wall. The feeder spins and separates component parts utilising rotary force and the parts revolve with high speed and are pulled to the outside of the bowl. Centrifugal feeders are gentle on component parts due to low circulation and are best suited to high rate applications. How does a centrifugal feeder work? The centrifugal feeder contains a center disc mounted on an angle and a horizontally mounted feeding bowl. Both parts can rotate independently at variable speeds. I have a question I have a centrifugal pump 73 m3/hr&4bar ,sea water fluid,intake flange 4inch . it doesn't have filter, the clearance between impeller and casing is very small ,l found squeezed material between impeller and casing at its supply ,so I thought about intake filter ,I have two sizes 6" reducer to 4" . who can I design suction filter about the mesh ? mesh 40 is good?
