Here is a visual wrap-up of text-to-background contrast ratios needed to comply with WCAG 1.4.3 AA and 1.4.6 AAA. These ratios depend not only on the foreground and background colors but also on the text size and font weight. Many contrast checkers only verify the colors, leaving up to the auditor to manually check for text boldness and size if they know how to differentiate normal text from large text. Check out the schema that I created for my Accessible Design training! #WCAG #AccessibleDesign

What colors make your video look pro? Some key tips to help you decide: 1. Consider no more than 3 total 2. Use tools like Adobe Color Wheel (It’s okay not to have a visual design, but if you’re not working with a strong brand look for palettes.) 3. Use templates and don’t free wheel it! When in doubt, look to your favourite brands and copy, borrow, emulate, and steal! 🥷 See how they use color to help highlight key information…or really how they lead your eye to what to focus. 🔔 Stay tuned for more tips from Synthesia Academy to learn to communicate and design better with video!

For a 160x600 image (often used in display networks), here's a content suggestion that fits the narrow and tall format: Top Section: Bold Heading: "Explore New Dimensions" Use a clean, modern font to grab attention. Middle Section: Visual Element: A simple graphic or abstract design that represents growth or expansion, like layered geometric shapes (circles, triangles) expanding vertically. Bottom Section: Call to Action (CTA): "Innovate Today" Use a contrasting color for the CTA button or text to make it stand out. Keep the design minimal with a strong visual focus to capture attention quickly in such a slim layout.

✨ Pro tip while deciding the ideal way to design a Three-level hamburger navigation. 👉 Level One: Ensure to add icons for quick visual identification of the first level menu. 👉 Level Two: Lower a visual treatment by using bold fonts (and dropping icons) 👉 Level Three: Use the regular font for balanced top-to-bottom thickness and importance. 👉 Use the back icon: For ease of navigating back to Level One < From Level Two < Level Three. 🌟 Additionally add search for quick access. This helps users once they are familiar with the terminology of the navigation system. Oh and don't forget to use easier and contextual terms in your navigation. Happy Designing Everyone 🤩
