Archisearch the Paper Edition Vol. 5. A few years ago we decided to move from digital to print. The result was a collectible magazine that won the GRAND PRIX award at last year's Red Dot Design Award a Silver Award in Magazines at the European Design Awards and a honorable mention at ΕΒΓΕ Explore at issuu all our editions. Soon the 6th edition will be uploaded as well. Special thanks to our editorial director Danai Makri and our designers at Post-Spectacular Office, as well as our editor Aris Marinakis and the rest of the Design Ambassador super team. Archisearch the Paper Edition Archisearch tPE (the Paper Edition) is the printed version of the website archisearch.gr, a platform for architecture and design. The concept of this project draws elements from the world of architecture and design in an attempt to convey them in the experience of reading and browsing a leaflet. The large format and the rice paper cover is a direct reference to the experience of the architect and designer over the drawing board, while at the same time typography takes the role of the blueprint aiming to achieve a sense of archival recording. Without major typographical breakthroughs -as is commonly practiced in magazine design- except from the alternation of chapters, we create a flowing typographic system, where text and images act as blocks, within the topography of the paper. This is an excellent example of dood design Sasa! There are so many attempts to this problem, this particular design is characterised by simplicity and practicality, two essential qualities to good design.

As a part of the Form and Design Course lead by our Professor Klaudia Szösz during the 3rd semester at Óbuda University we had a task to redesign and reinvent a chair from out choice. Mine was the everyday classroom chair, as I tackled this challenge by a case study to address the problems of the current design and propose a functional yet aesthetically conscious solutions. In spite of the countless challenges of our post-truth era we draw hope from illustration’s capacity to conjure shared and relatable worlds. Here’s to us illustrators!
