Once again...the little known, and rarely referenced/applauded, brilliant women and men at AEDC, uniformed, government and contractors...seasoned engineering, technicians and trades practitioners...have been working at Mach-speed (pun intended...as their base newspaper is indeed named High Mach) to enable this "re-emergence of our National and Global test assets" that facilitated and executed this test/demonstration... ...and now in this case, "the re-emergence of our Nuclear Enterprise."

The decorated World War II veteran is also an accomplished graphic artist and a volunteer at the The Museum of Flight. Naveed and Dick dive into the intersection of art and service, and Dick recalls what Seattle was like after the war and how it's changed since.
