#DidYouKnow that Army civilians must adhere to the Hatch Act? The Hatch Act is a law that limits certain political activities to ensure the fair administration of federal programs without partisan influence. Furthermore, service members must follow the guidelines as stated by DOD Directive 1344.10 to avoid any perception of official DOD sponsorship or endorsement of a political candidate, cause or campaign. Refer to the guidance below for this election season.

Disproportionate power in the Biden administration. This administration has refused to listen to the majority of the American people who have demanded an immediate ceasefire and end to the siege and starvation by Israel and stop to further expedited shipments of lethal weapons to Israel. Is it possible for Dual-Citizens to bear allegiance Only to the United States anf not a foreign government or potentate when they make decisions to aid and abet the genocidal aims of a foreign government? And when they serve in the military of a foreign country?

Mark Hertling, DBA raises an important point that affects more than the military. Everyone in government, who will be operating in this new environment of executive immunity, stands on the same shaky ground. Over the years, I’ve seen my share of bad (and good) ideas from both parties. I’ve even seen a few illegal ones - all of which were dropped after their illegality was pointed out (sometimes after significant complaining, shouting, foot dragging, and petulance). We are entering a new era. Can bureaucrats push back on illegal activity? Does only the executive have immunity or everyone carrying out their wishes? So many questions, so few answers. Let’s be careful out there #bravebureacrats.

It is hard to imagine the deployment of troops and suspension of liberties on American soil by the federal government. Yet the Insurrection Act would allow the power to do so. This law, dating from 1807, gives the president the authority to deploy the army or the navy in the case of a domestic uprising or when federal law is being ignored. The act states that this can be done when lawful, without defining what that means. Armed with the Insurrection Act, what could a determined, malign president do? 🚨 Morena to Fast Track Reform Granting Military Control Over the National Guard Today, September 19, Morena will push for a reform in the Lower House that would transfer full command of the National Guard (GN) to the Ministry of Defense (Sedena). This proposal, which amends 12 constitutional articles, seeks to establish the GN as a permanent military force responsible for public security. The reform would allow the president to deploy the GN for internal security and defense, while Congress defines the regulations for its operation. However, this move raises significant concerns. The reform blurs the line between military and civilian roles, which is fundamental to democratic governance. Critics warn it could lead to increased human rights violations, reduced transparency, and weakened accountability, as the military operates under different legal standards than civilian police. Is this the right path for Mexico’s security?

No one can fully understand the difficulty in passing legislation; you literally have to have the military's assistance; otherwise, it's impossible. It can take more than four years to pass legislation, and it can take even longer to educate people on what the updated laws are, and you have to train them to follow those laws even though they have been brought up in an extremely abusive environment and some don't know what to do with freedom and financial independence. I would prefer to arrest those who do not follow financial laws rather than those who are over the speed limit or have outdated information such as a license. It is my opinion we need to set laws stating that it is illegal to arrest all unless it has been publicly recognized by leadership and the military. Please Add. 💜 https://lnkd.in/ggAbFKE6

I would like to share my latest article on the urgent need to revamp the Service complaints process within the UK Armed Forces. At Bolt Burdon Kemp, we propose a comprehensive manifesto aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and fairness. The current system is inefficient and unfair.
