Air Liquide was pleased to join Siemens Energy for their Experience Days 2024 in Germany on June 26 & 27.
This event, held at their Berlin site, and home to the Siemens Energy gas turbine manufacturing & Innovation Center and the Air Liquide / Siemens Energy joint venture multi-gigawatt #electrolyzer factory, focused on the key theme of energy resilience – step by step: #partnering up for a secure, #sustainable, and affordable net-zero future.
Our esteemed executive, Dominique Rouge, had the pleasure of joining a panel discussion on the #decarbonization of #industries and its transformative impact. He shared valuable insights for the #refining and #chemicals industries and discussed Air Liquide’s pathway to bring key #renewablehydrogen projects from ambition to reality, highlighting:
👉 Trailblazer: A 20 MW large-scale electrolyzer supplying renewable hydrogen and oxygen to key industries and mobility, accelerating the decarbonization of the Rhine-Ruhr industrial basin.
👉 Normand’Hy: A 200 MW PEM electrolyzer in Port-Jérôme, France, which will supply renewable hydrogen for industrial and heavy mobility applications, avoiding the emission of 250,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
📢 More exciting news from Siemens Energy was the announcement of the new name of their suite of #scalable and #reliable electrolyzer family:
⭐ Elyzer ⭐
A special appreciation and congratulations to the Siemens Energy team: Alexey Ustinov, Manuel Kuehn, Luca Falso, Peter Adam, Fenna Bleyl, Ute Rohr and Kamila Ishbulatova.
Together, we are making strides towards a sustainable energy future!
