3 Lazy Workers in an Office with a Sea View 🌊 Once, I moved to a city by the sea and brought part of my team with me. Three people who were involved in international trade moved with me, while the employees working in the local market stayed at the previous office. We rented an office in the newest office center with a sea view. All the conditions were perfect for effective work. However, these three employees started telling me every day that there was no market today, and we couldn't sell. But they said, “You moved us here, so pay us our salary.” I simply didn't want to come to the office. The atmosphere of laziness and inaction was unbearable. It really infected us with thoughts about the uselessness of our work. I let them go. Today, my team is doing unique things. They are constantly seeking new opportunities, always in touch with partners, and find solutions in any situation. They motivate me to work, not the other way around. Each employee is like a nugget of gold, mined from a gold field. ❓ Would you be interested if I host a webinar on team building? Where I’ll share my journey of building a team. Let me know in the comments. 👇

My clients often tell me that working days are very hectic and that there are too few opportunities and too little time to discuss things properly within their teams. They expect from me a team activity that provides insights and solutions to the group's complex issues. At the same time, we must not fall into the trap of overloading a team event. We would only fall into the same hectic pace that was mentioned as a problem! How to solve this dilemma ⁉️ First, in discussions with a cross-section of the team, clarify what are the priority topics now. Second, from the topics mentioned, select the topics for the team event on which the group can achieve added value at the event itself – less is more. Third, plan enough free space for the group to self-organise: Flexibly. In a relaxed atmosphere. With enough time. If all goes well 🤞 the team gets new insights, discovers new solution paths for their most burning issues and the group has the conversations that are neglected in everyday working life. ✅
