AI Squared, a prominent artificial intelligence (AI) integration platform, has officially acquired Multiwoven, a leading open-source reverse ETL (rETL) company based in California and Bengaluru.
While the financial terms remain undisclosed, this acquisition underscores AI Squared’s dedication to enhancing data-driven insights within enterprise applications. Just weeks after securing a successful $13.8 million Series A funding round led by Ansa Capital, AI Squared is poised to integrate Multiwoven’s rETL capabilities into its existing suite of enterprise solutions.
Benjamin Harvey, Founder and CEO of AI Squared, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition’s potential impact, stating, “With AI Squared and Multiwoven now united, we are primed to lead the field in open-source rETL, while simultaneously delivering crucial data-movement functionality to our clientele.”
Reverse ETL, a pivotal process in contemporary data operations, involves extracting structured data from warehouses and seamlessly integrating it into everyday applications such as sales, marketing, and advertising platforms.
With Multiwoven’s technology seamlessly integrated into AI Squared’s enterprise platform, the collaboration aims to empower organizations to efficiently harness data insights for fostering business growth.
Following the acquisition, Multiwoven’s leadership will assume key roles within AI Squared. Sujoy Golan will serve as Chief Product Officer, Nagendra Dhanakeerthi as Chief Technology Officer, and Subin Thattaparambil as Senior Vice President of Engineering.
Golan, Co-founder and CEO of Multiwoven, emphasized the synergistic potential of the merger, stating, “With our combined team, we can expedite the development and expansion of Multiwoven open source, which will remain freely accessible. Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce advanced capabilities to activate AI/ML data in collaboration with AI Squared.”
AI Squared’s suite of solutions has been gaining significant traction across government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations in sectors including finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, reflecting the escalating demand for robust AI-driven data integration solutions.
The inclusion of Multiwoven’s expertise is poised to further solidify AI Squared’s standing as a frontrunner in the realm of AI-powered data integration, unlocking novel opportunities for businesses to effectively leverage data-driven insights.
