**Reposting** Looking for thoughts, comments, common experiences and suggestions. I believe Expedia may have misrepresented a refund for a flight cancellation. On August 5th, I had to cancel my daughter’s flight. After processing the cancellation on the Expedia website, I received a generated cancellation notice stating that I would be refunded $762.00. However, the only refund I received was $98.00, which was for unused taxes from the airline, British Airways. In addition to this discrepancy, I never received any email confirmation from Expedia regarding the cancellation or their policy on refunds. The only documentation I have is the cancellation notice generated on their website, which clearly indicated the $762.00 refund. I am concerned that this may constitute a misrepresentation by Expedia, as the refund amount indicated on their cancellation notice does not align with the actual refund received. Moreover, the lack of communication from Expedia, including the absence of an email confirmation, has left me without clarity on their cancellation policy. I already reported my situation to the FTC Consumer Protection Services. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts, comments and or guidance on this experience. Has anyone else had this experience? Thanks for everyone's input.
