When the skies become roads and every journey tells a story, Dubai transforms into a mosaic of dreams. Here, every arrival is more than a visit; it's a new chapter in the city's tale of wonder. Dubai 2023: An Epic of Skies and Dreams 🛫 17 million hearts set sail, bound for dreams. 🌐 From every corner, a world was converging in Dubai. ✈️ Suppose! all were Boing 777; that would be a fleet of 56,667 Boeing 777s, bridging dreams to reality. 🌞 Daily, 170 giants of the skies descend each a story, each a promise. 🕐 Hourly, 7 beacons of hope glide under the stars' watchful eyes. Picture the scene: the hustle, the vibrant tapestry of life unfolding. Dubai is a stage where every arrival is a scene from a grander narrative. 🏙️ As night embraces the desert, the city lights up, a beacon for wanderers. And amidst this bustling symphony, a demand rises like the dawn. 🔑 Short-term rentals, homes away from home, waiting with open doors. Why? “ A nation that has no past has neither present nor future.” An intriguing statement from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and one that at first glance might be hard to reconcile with the new and gleaming glass and polished stone of Abu Dhabi, but only at first glance. It’s a message that is found in one of the workshops in the Heritage Village of Abu Dhabi. Abu translates as Father and Dhabi as Gazelle. The name is traced back to a story of a gazelle being followed by a hunting party to a stream of drinking water on an island. The party settle on the island, although legend seems to be silent as to the longevity of the gazelle. Prior to the gazelle, the region was known as Milh which means salt in Arabic. The region’s prosperity was based largely on trade, particularly in salt and in pearls. Its pearls were (and still are) considered among the finest in the world. But its pearl industry was largely destroyed in the 1930s by a combination of the Great Depression and cheaper, cultured pearls from Japan. As poverty and hardship increased, the nation’s fortunes were suddenly transformed beyond recognition and imagination by the discovery of oil in 1958, its fortunes wisely invested by its rulers in a modern city looking very much to the future. As the pearl industry died, so too might the oil industry on which so much of the region depends. What will come next? Perhaps tourism, entertainment and hospitality. The lesson that Abu Dhabi has learned is to enjoy the present but to remember the past and to think of the future. The past is not so long ago and the future comes upon us so quickly. It was not a lesson I expected to learn from Abu Dhabi, but that is the beauty of travel: it blows away your misconceptions and leaves you with a different perspective. And it’s perhaps a lesson to us all to use our time wisely, maybe to follow that gazelle and see where it leads us. #abudhabi #travel #notjusttravel

During my time at Fame Travel, I brought guests from Dubai to experience the "UAE Days in Moscow" program. I have to commend the Ministry of Tourism for their hard work in promoting Russia as a tourist destination, especially among Gulf countries. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the recommended itinerary for Arab tourists. Here's why: Firstly, we need to consider their cultural preferences. Many Arabs are new to deep cultural immersion. They might not be up for long museum, gallery, or theater visits. This might explain why the Mariinsky Theater doesn't often tour to Dubai Opera. Secondly, most Arab tourists prioritize entertainment. They envision relaxing by the water, enjoying delicious food in atmospheric restaurants with hookahs, and experiencing Russian traditions through music and dance. For example, a visit to a traditional bathhouse or an excursion to Tver, with its authentic Russian charm, would likely be more appealing than a trip to the Tretyakov Gallery. Ultimately, the key is to strike a balance between cultural experiences and outdoor recreation, while catering to their desire to learn about Russian traditions. What are your observations and experiences working with guests from the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and other Gulf countries? #hospitality #hotel #travel #tourism #travel_agent #RussiaTravel #UAEtravel #GulfTravel #CulturalTourism #horeca

Let's face it: whether it's by bus, train, or flight, travel always comes with a cost. But the real question is, is the investment worth the experience? Last month, my mom and I embarked on an unforgettable journey to Dubai. Over 8 days, we spent 2 lakh rupees. Some might argue that it's a substantial amount and could be seen as a splurge. However, Dubai is a city designed to enchant tourists, and it truly lived up to its reputation during our visit. Our hotel, strategically located near the iconic Burj Khalifa, offered a mesmerizing view of the city skyline. Waking up to such a sight every morning was an experience in itself. We made sure to explore all the major attractions Dubai has to offer. From the breathtaking Dubai Frame to the innovative Aya Universe, and not to forget the awe-inspiring Museum of the Future, Dubai Fountain, The Palm Atlantis, Sea World, and more, each place added a unique charm to our trip. Beyond the sights, the cultural immersion and the memories we created were priceless. It's not just about visiting landmarks; it's about experiencing new cultures, broadening our horizons, and cherishing moments with loved ones. So, while travel does require financial commitment, the experiences, memories, and personal growth it brings are invaluable. It's an investment in enriching your life and creating lasting memories. Have you had a similar travel experience that made every penny worthwhile? Share your stories below! 🌍✈️ #TravelMemories #WorthTheInvestment #ExploreDubai #Travelwhisk
