The amount of time people spend in their cars in the US is insane. I traveled this summer to Porto, Portugal and experienced a different way of living. Take for example, the Dom Luis bridge below. Water ferries run below the bridge. One level above, busses, cyclists and taxis share the road with pedestrians. Above that, just above the arch, there's a rail line for trains. At the highest level, there's an electric subway and more sidewalks for walkers. That's like 7+ ways to get from one side to the other! It won't happen overnight, but I'm trying my best to be part of the solution and not the problem by building and designing connected, walkable projects. #walkability #urbandesign #multimodal

Perth Airport has presented the design of its future ‘One Airport’ for Western Australian travellers. This 5 billion AUD investment will bring all flights into the Airport Central precinct. The project will establish a new parallel runway, new terminal facilities, two multi-storey carparks, an upgrade of Terminal 2, and the airport’s first hotel.
