STILL A VERY HUMAN INDUSTRY >>LANGUAGE AND SPEECH VIA ATC AND PILOT >> Among the changes to the air traffic control protocol that Japan will now introduce at its airports is the cessation of the practice of informing aircraft of the take-off order, which was previously indicated by assigning "number 1", "number 2" and successive to aircraft waiting in the taxi area. but that doesn't indicate the go-ahead itself to move towards the track. It is believed that the Coast Guard aircraft may have rushed off after being called "No. 1" and given priority for such an operation, given that it was on its way to provide aid to the damaged Noto Peninsula and surroundings after the strong New Year's earthquake in the area, which has caused more than 200 deaths.

An incredible demonstration by the Japan Airlines crew and the passengers who educated themselves on what to do in the event of an emergency. 379 people evacuated under great distress. Of course there are so many details unknown, but it is impossible to think that training and education isn't at the forefront of lives saved. Today seems like the perfect day to discuss the 90 second rule in aviation. In the 1960's our The Interaction Group founders were involved in creating and testing the 90-second rule. Is it time to improve this legislation? Can we do better? #aviationsafety #safetycards

Japan Airlines event is a dramatic example of how recruiting and training the right people to support customers is key to a memorable travel experience! One of the key elements to this being an event - instead of a real tragic disaster for more people - was that the cabin crew and airlines provided the best service to travelers through emergency training before the flight. I never knew that Japan Airlines crew hires must spend 3 weeks on emergency evacuation training drills before flying, and then take part in a yearly refresher course. I do hope this level of training happens in every airline! #travelexperience #customerexperience #traininganddevelopment #airlineindustry

News of the Day Aviation experts are warning about potential chaos at European airports this summer as liquid restrictions are set to be reintroduced. The European Commission has announced that from September 1 the 100ml liquid restriction will apply once again - meaning all liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols must be less than 100mkl and placed inside a clear plastic bag before you take them through airport security at any EU airport. It means holidaymakers travelling throughout Europe will no longer be able to carry any liquids measuring more than 100ml in their hand luggage. The temporary restrictions will begin from September 1 in all EU airports - including those which have installed new-generation C3 scanning equipment for hand luggage. Europe’s branch of Airports Council International (ACI) has condemned this move, saying it will likely lead to significant delays at border screening - right in time for the summer holidays. “It will result in significant operational strain, the mitigation of which will require the deployment of additional staff and the reconfiguration of security checkpoints, where feasible,” a press release from the organisation read. The U-turn follows on from many airports installing new C3 scanners at security gates, which in theory will allow for liquids over 100ml to be carried through on to the plane. However, this has now been reversed. #europe #PersonalTravelConsultant

Air transport is the activity that allows the transfer of people, merchandise and mail in aircraft. Therefore, we are talking about the type of transport that travels by air and is present in airport. The physical infrastructure necessary for the organization of this means of transport are the airports. Therefore, these facilities are what allow aircraft to take off, land and park safely. In addition, as in the ports, they have the delimitations for the loading and unloading of merchandise, and the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers. Also, they have the necessary space for their maintenance and refueling. The main characteristics and advantages of air freight transport are speed, reliability in terms of cargo security, lack of access limitations to remote locations. #galaxytechfoundation #stemeducation #STEM #astronomy

I believe that each passenger on this Singapore Airlines flight, which was traveling over Myanmar during this incident, deserves a minimum compensation of $1 million USD. The traumatic experience they endured is unimaginable and warrants such recompense. Moreover, it is imperative to investigate why a commercial aircraft was flying over Myanmar during such a volatile period. Myanmar is currently embroiled in a civil war, raising serious questions about the safety protocols in place. Have we not learned from past tragedies, such as the downing of Flight MH17 over Ukraine? It seems we are doomed to repeat our mistakes unless stringent measures are taken to prevent commercial flights from flying over conflict zones. #singaporeairlines #compensation #myanmar
