I felt more joy hanging out with this little guy (my 3 year old nephew) for a week than anything else I did last year. More than the ski trips. More than the conferences. More than growing the RE portfolio. Way more. So much joy from such a small person. Every thing I do today, I do because I know, one day, I want to give my own little person all the love and attention I can give. No missing sports events. No preoccupation with work. No lashing out over financial stress. Just presence. Just love. Just joy. Build your financial fortress so you can spend your time and energy on what really matters. Like being called "Uncle Day Day" and going on walks with someone who just wants your love. P.S. What's your Why? What pushes you forward through the tough days (there will be many)? Let's chat in the comments below

I wan to create a legacy, and help my kids if they ever need me. If you have passive income then you can spend time with the family.
That was our ‘why’, long before we had a kid. We laid the groundwork then, and now I get to make decisions where I put time with my son and wife above everything else
Kids are so cool. Every perspective is important. So glad you get your silliness out, AJ S.
This is the kind of Friday post I love to see AJ! Family & being able to give back to my church community are at the very top of my priority list 🤗
Oh my goodness he is so lucky to have you as his Uncle Day Day!! My Why is my little guys too :)
That’s what it’s all about. Time freedom!
This is everything! Family moments and the joy they bring are truly priceless.
