It’s important to note that the views on chlorinated chicken can vary, and some argue that when used appropriately, chlorine can be effective in reducing bacterial contamination. However, concerns about the broader implications on food safety practices, environmental impact, and animal welfare have led to ongoing debates and regulatory differences between regions. #UpgradeWithAKFnB • • • • • #AKFnB #FoodAndBeverages #GourmetMeat #Steak #Meat #Chicken #Duck #PremiumPoultry #GourmetDuck #SignatureDuckDishes #ReadyToEatChicken #PekinDuck #ImportedDuck #DoorstepDelivery #Halal #CertifiedMeat #Chefs #Restaurants #Hotels #Hygiene #FreeRangeFarms #WinterMenu #MeatSupplier #ChlorinatedChicken #Chlorinated

Food labelling. Country of Origin. Animal welfare standards vary across the world, in the UK we have high standards. Meat, fish and seafood are arriving from far and wide. Suppliers must label meat, fish or seafood products with their country or place of origin IF they are selling it to the final consumer or mass caterer. Otherwise the country of origin information doesn't need to be passed on. Where it's not the final consumer or mass caterer, as a purchaser you can ask where the meat comes from that is being supplied. As a consumer you can also ask. Besides wanting to support your local farmers and producers. Could there be an impact on health e.g. over use of antibiotics, low welfare. https://lnkd.in/eHEfQ-_u #Animalwelfare #Labelling #Countryoforigin #Meat #poultry #Fish #Seafood

Today’s culinary experts are not only inquisitive about the varieties but also lay key emphasis on the origin and safety of the produce. Here’s what makes EU cheese a great ingredient. Animal welfare: The EU ensures that every protocol for animal feed, milking, grazing, and stall size is maintained because the quality of the milk directly influences the taste of the cheese. Hygiene regulation: The producers keep a stringent check on the quality of the milk by ensuring that it’s well within lower temperatures and is stored in a way to prevent any sort of contamination. Authenticity: The geographical indicators, the PGI and PDO labels, are a testimony to the quality of the ingredient, which also validates the country of origin. The protocols established by the European Union ensure that the right production processes are followed. This directly enhances the quality of cheese, ensuring only the best reaches every culinary expert! #EU #EUCheese #MoreThanFood #Authenticity #Safety

When it comes to health communication, fear and force is never the solution to inspire social and behavioural change to pick up good practices. Even if it works initially, it's never sustainable. However consistently communicating with factual information as new development arises in data obtained is crucial. Hence in my role as a Risk communicator with the Veterinary Services, providing the public with facts on the subject matter of Food Safety goes without ratting out some harmful practices within the food value chain by some key actors. Regardless of this, acknowledging that everyone has a role to play in food safety and knowing fully well that it is possible to implement good practices for our health and wellbeing when it comes to food and nutrition is what fuels the conversation. Food Security is nothing without Food Safety. Let's all play our role. #WorldFoodSafetyDay24 #goodhealthandwellbeing #zerohunger #onehealth #YLPfoodsystems

The Value of the Supply Chain - The Flock and the Shepherds Time, care, and expertise are the ingredients of our extraordinary products. At the heart of our supply chain stands the first pillar: THE FLOCK AND THE SHEPHERDS. Our selection of partners for milk production and collection is inspired by common values, a guarantee for the quality that sets us apart. Brada Stabling: Animal welfare is at the forefront of priorities. Our shepherds dedicate time and attention to the selection of pastures, allowing the flock to graze outdoors following natural rhythms. Milk Collection: Every day, fresh milk is collected within 36 hours of milking. Each sheep contributes approximately 1.5 liters of milk per milking. A meticulous collection from each shepherd ensures an excellent raw material. Controlled Supply Chain: The supply chain is a constant kaleidoscope of checks. From the unloading of milk into tanks, an automatic system records each batch. This precise tracing continues through every processing stage, ensuring food safety and superior quality. Our website features a full deep dive into the value of our supply chain.
