It was great meeting various partnership/channel thought leaders in London yesterday across different industries. A few of my highlights from the event are as follows: - #ecosystem was in the air. - According to Josh Budd from IDC, training & certifications, financial incentives, and technical & pre-sales support are the three most important factors when it comes to partner programme benefits for partners. - Partner capabilities matter more than fitting partners into different tiers or types. - Deals have become more complex as many partners are involved in serving one customer, increasing complexity and necessitating the mindset shift to adopt an ecosystem approach rather than following a linear approach. - Creating right incentive structure and alignment among sales, marketing, and partnerships has become more important than ever. Cannot thank enough Jacqui Rand - Channel Consultant and Sophy Gray for pulling the event off so well and all guests who could join our table to discuss how can we drive demand through an ecosystem: Philip Gale, Carol Brennan, Diamond Heung, Maria Lanzellotti, Aimee Moreau, Jay Gibson, Peter Neill, Bill Clayton, Nigel Houghton, Mikaela Rego, Deidre Jones, Gemma Louise Ainsley (Please forgive me if I missed adding any guests) Seeing the iconic Twickenham Stadium first hand was cherry on top :) Can't wait for Boston one. #channelmeetup #partnerecosystem #ecosystemstrategy #partnermarketing
Channel Meet Up London has been a big success. Harbinder Khera talking to the group and sharing the Mindmatrix vision. Akash Singh leading our round table discussion “Evolve your partner marketing programs in the ecosystem environment”. #channelmeetup #channelmanagement #channelprogram #channelmarketing
