Velosi has been awarded a project by Global Process Systems (GPS) to prepare a set of operation and commissioning manuals for the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) Gas pipeline project in Nigeria. The project involves a meticulous and collaborative process, where Velosi will conduct in-depth research, gather relevant data from various stakeholders, and leverage our expertise to present a set of manuals that not only meet but exceed industry standards. Regular feedback sessions and reviews will be conducted to ensure alignment with the client's expectations. The successful completion of this project will result in a set of Operation and Commissioning Manuals that serve as invaluable resources for the client's operational teams. Israel development alert! The Leviathan project export volumes from the Phase 1B expansion have been approved by the Israel Ministry of Energy. Chevron, NewMed Energy and Ratio Energies operate the project. The consortium is working on a field development plan and if adopted they have allocated a budget of US$400-500 million for the front-end engineering design (FEED) and acquisition of long lead items. Production capacity is expected to increase from 1.2 bcf/d to 2.1 bcf/d. Gas is sold to domestic consumers and exported to Egypt and Jordan. Export options from Phase 1B include increasing piped supply to Egypt, surrounding countries, and FLNG.
