In my experience, the most important factor when it comes to getting hired is cultural fit. While skills and qualifications are crucial, they can often be taught or developed on the job. However, fitting into a company's culture is something that can't be easily learned. When you align with the values, mission, and work environment of a company, you're more likely to thrive and contribute positively. This goes beyond just getting along with colleagues; it’s about sharing a common vision and being motivated by the same goals.

So, how do you demonstrate cultural fit during the hiring process? 2moI went through three interviews, two of them being on site with your company, which was a bit of a trip both times. During my last interview, I was told that I would know within several days if I had the position or not. It has been four months, your company has “re-posted” for the same position, and no one ever contacted me. I feel I deserved at least the respect of a yes or a no. I’m retiring from serving 25 years serving the public, and during my tenure I would NEVER treat someone in the same way. Very disappointed in your company, and it has unfortunately given me a hopeless feeling for other positions.
