Yes.. yes, this question makes my heart beat faster. Soo important. Question: What skills do you think a future designer needs? I truely believe: A future developer, designer or not - we should leave this question aside - needs three things. 1. A clear view of the true needs of people (not consumers, not consumers, not users) and an intrinsic motivation to exclusively fulfill them. This in no way excludes having fun with things and aesthetics, on the contrary. Humans are emotional creatures. 2. A comprehensive knowledge of how to achieve these goals. This includes technical knowledge, but also social skills, empathy, psychological basics and, above all, communication skills. 3. An unhindered view of the future, an inner promise to leave the earth for future generations in at least the same condition as we found it. What applies to a toilet may also apply to the only habitable planet within reach. What do you think? I am curious to learn more about this really important things. to be continued.. #futuredesign
