Wellbeing is so much more than a one week a year focus, but as it appears to be Wellbeing Week this week let me know if you’d like a free download of a simple 5 Ways to Wellbeing plan. I don’t seem to be able to attach the PDF to this post 🤷🏼♂️ Based on research by the NEF these 5 Ways can enable a positive and lasting improvement to overall wellbeing. The main thing is to dedicate some of our valuable time to focus on ourselves. Then we are more likely to be at our best in everything else and deliver what is expected (as a parent, employee, friend, partner, sibling, coach etc). Press pause for 15mins and give this a go. #wellbeing #presspause #investinyou

World Wellbeing Week! 🧩Kicking off wellbeing week with puzzles in the office. Although this seem something small, taking 10 minutes out of your day to do a puzzle can have a great impact on your health for the day. Doing a puzzle increases the production of dopamine to help regulate your memory, mood and concentration. They can also provide stress relief and reduce anxiety – perfect for those busy days in the office. These will be in the offices all week for colleagues to complete together, encouraging time away from desks and spending time with colleagues. #worldwellbeingweek #officepuzzles #wellbeing

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸... For World Wellbeing Week we’ll be sharing a daily tip to help you improve your wellbeing at work. Today we’re starting with: 𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝟭: 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 We all know that there are times when we need to work intensively to meet tight deadlines or prepare for an important event. Working at a fast pace is fine, but you also need to make sure you schedule some downtime to allow your nervous system to relax and recover. If you don’t find this balance, you’ll likely find yourself quickly overheating and feeling exhausted by the end of the day. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼? The easiest way to commit to these breaks is to look at your schedule at the start of the day and plan them in. Try to plan at least 3 breaks to decompress, even if it's just for 5 minutes. I also make sure to plan a longer act of self-care once a week. #worldwellbeingweek #wellbeingatwork #brainhealth #selfcare
