Dear America, I've spent the past 5 months immersed in the world of yoga, visiting 600+ studios and health centers from coast to coast. And I observed an extremely surprising DISCONNECT: Countless yogis seeking holistic wellness still reach for processed snacks after practice. While yoga boosts energy and nourishes the body, 36 million Yogis unintentionally negate those benefits with unhealthy post-practice choices. I’ve been on both sides, experienced the processed snacks and healthy ones, and here’s my take. When we ignore healthy yogic Nutrition post-practice, here’s what happens: - We lose out on sustaining the energy levels yoga aims to boost - We lose out on muscle recovery and body nourishment. - We lose out on the overall physical benefits of yoga - We lose out on the potential of holistic wellness. - We lose out on mental clarity and calmness. We lose out on every damn benefit yoga is supposed to give us through food. We disconnect between the mindful practice of yoga and the post-practice food because of the choices we make. This disconnect is what I aim to bridge. The potential here is immense. Not just for business growth, but for a cultural shift towards better, more mindful eating habits post-yoga.
