Reflecting on Q1, it's been quite the journey, to say the least. Amidst the whirlwind of opportunities – from speaking engagements to achieving our visibility goals – there's been a significant amount of transition over at SVS. We've been diligently cleaning up our systems and navigating through changes, ensuring that we're equipped for the road ahead. 💼 From the client's perspective, it's been a mixed bag. While we're grateful for the steady stream of leads and clients, there's been a noticeable shift in the sales process. Decisions seem to be taking longer, and there's a palpable sense of weariness as we step into 2024. 📈💼 But hey, that's all part of the journey, right? Despite the ups and downs, we're incredibly grateful for the opportunities that have come our way and the progress we've made. We're learning and growing every day, and that's what truly matters. When you focus on what's going wrong at work, all you can see are problems. Which simply creates more problems. 😫 When you focus on what's going well at work, all you can see are opportunities and possibilities. Which creates more opportunities and possibilities in your career. 🏆️ What's going well for you at work right now?

When you're stressed and have a million things to do, everyone says you should take a breath, go on a walk, go to the gym.... These are great to do, if they fill your cup. To be honest, I’m not that person. I do all of these things but I do them because I like to be healthy, not because I just LOVE to do them. You know what I love to do? Have 1:1's. Yes internal 1:1's. They’re fun to me. As a remote-first team, when I feel stressed, or like I have alot on my plate, connecting with my team does a few things that I love: 1. Offering help/Asking for help. Helping my team win fills my cup. 2. Venting about whats on my to do list. They usually are feeling the same way and talking about it helps me see I'm not alone. 3. Find gaps in my workflow. Usually these conversations are gold mines for new ideas and a different perspective on how I could accomplish more. 4. Accountability loop I DO NOT like letting things slip by the way side. I ask my team to hold me accountable to goals. A quota is one thing but an explicit bet or promise in my book is more powerful. (usually my goals are much higher than quota) This is probably an unpopular opinion but working out, taking a walk, etc is for my health and doesn't make me happy lol.

Breaking news!!! My second month's report: Now, let's talk about the purpose of a monthly report… The best part of creating one is that it helps me stay organized, focused and on top of my work activities. The first month was a giant wave of new knowledge, study and demands; enriching, full of possibilities, progress and growth. WoW! I really miss it!!! This second month was presented in a more professional way; with more tasks, responsibilities and deadlines. At the end of the day, you wish to you made good decisions. If you don't track your progress and learn from your experiences, it's impossible to know if those decisions are working or not. This is the reason why. Creating a culture of data-driven decision-making is important because it will help improve the quality of your progress. It's also an excellent way to measure their performance in their roles and what needs improvement. It shows you how you are performing month after month, and here time is very important. It can also act as a checklist to help go over things that need to be done or have been accomplished. It will help you understand what works best to keep doing it and make it even better, identify problems before they get out of hand, prioritize your tasks and stay productive. I start my third month on the OverIT - Field Service Management's START Program living it as if were a "third half": where the first one was educational, the second one experiential, and overall considering myself the winner of this match!!! Let's go for the Championship!!!!!

I am sharing with you some of the tips that allow her to excel in the triple jump discipline and I hope that you will select what sounds applicable for you and become a champion in your respective area. 👉 Here we go: 1.      Have motivation, a bold and achievable goal. 2.      Evaluate your performance to know your real level. 3.      Make a preparation plan to reach the required level. 4.      Identify the factors which might impact the performance on the due date. 5.      Learn lessons from each failure and step-up training to close the gaps. 6.      Define your environmental and competition management strategy. 7.      Avoid distractions and make tough decisions(family, sponsor,...) in the execution of the plan. 8.      Train whatever the obstacle 9.      𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 instead of quantity (Select the right exercise, make necessary effort to perfectly execute the moves and jump) 👉 this is why she breaks the world record in each of her 6 attempts. 10.  Avoid improvising on the appointed day.

One of the key principles I live by and share with my teams is, "Do what you say you’re going to do." This means keeping your word. If you can't deliver on the simple things, no one will trust you with the complex ones. It’s crucial to inform others in advance if you can’t meet a commitment. Always strive to do things well, ensuring they meet your personal standards. Control your standard and keep it high.
