INTERESTING FACT Everyone Has a Unique Tongue Print When detectives investigate a crime scene in any prime-time cop drama, they’re often on the hunt for one thing: fingerprints. Because these intricate patterns of whorls and lines are exclusive to each individual, fingerprints have been a go-to method for tracking down suspects for more than a century. However, our fingerprints are not unique when it comes to being, well, unique. Our tongues, like our fingerprints, are also specific to each individual. That’s right — people have tongue prints, which vary from one person to another due to both shape and texture. And perhaps surprisingly, the organ has been gaining some popularity as a method for biometric authentication. While fingerprints can be altered, eyes affected by astigmatisms or cataracts, and voices changed just by the all-too-common cold, the human tongue is relatively protected from external factors. Sticking out one’s tongue for a print also involves a layer of conscious control and consent that goes beyond what’s required for retinal scans or even fingerprinting, which could make it a more appealing biometric tool for some.

🔍 Debunking Misconceptions About ShotSpotter: Why Accurate Data Matters Recent reports have characterized ShotSpotter as ineffective, largely due to incomplete and misinterpreted data. Here's the truth: - Flawed Assumptions on "False" Alerts: Critics argue ShotSpotter produces high "false" alerts. However, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) report itself found that only 9.1% of ShotSpotter alerts did not result in immediate documented evidence, not necessarily false alerts. - Misleading Interpretation: ShotSpotter alerts provide digital evidence of gunfire, including precise location, timestamp, and audio recordings. The absence of physical evidence or witness testimony doesn't invalidate this digital proof. Key Points to Consider: - ShotSpotter alerts have led to finding more gunshot victims and illegal firearm incidents than reported through 911. - Police departments using ShotSpotter have up to three times higher rates of finding shell casings, crucial for investigations. - Independent analytics confirm ShotSpotter’s false positive rate is only 0.5%, with national accuracy audited above 97%. Contractually, SoundThinking guarantees 90% accuracy, and our technology has proven to save lives by enabling timely and efficient police responses.

Most fingerprint examiners will tell you under oath that they performed a qualitative-quantitative analysis of their latent print evidence. You’ll see plenty of comments in their reports describing the quality of their latent print evidence. In the vast majority of cases, what you will not see is any indication of how they valued the quality in their latent print evidence. Without a value, did they even consider the quality of the latent print at all? Likely not. In these cases, the fingerprint examiner will have only performed a quantitative analysis on their latent print. If you find yourself in this situation, be sure to ask them what they counted. You may be surprised at the answer. #sstforensics #criminaldefenselawyer #attorney #criminaldefense #expertwitness

Cheatle Testimony: 1. Comm Center staffed by both local force and SS, no emergency radio frequency channel, radio comms are not recorded. 2. Sharp Shooters did not need authorization or green light. 3. Timeline in her possession during hearing does not have data points. 4. No consideration given to stopping or halting rally nor stopping Trump from taking stage prior to shots fired. 5. She refused to reveal number of shell casings found on roof and/or near proximity if they rolled off roof, which would lend substance to theory of one or more shooters. Defies Logic It is difficult to take Cheatle seriously when she can confirm Crooks operated alone, to her knowledge there was only one shooter and Iran was not involved; when she can not confirm timeline of major known facts or generally responds with “can not comment because it’s an ongoing investigation”. If investigation is incomplete, how can she confirm there was only one shooter and/or that he acted alone? MTG’s question, “Was a stand down order given?”, was not answered due to MTG failing to pause, then adding additional question. Also, she did not specify whether stand down order was directed at sharp shooters or Comms team, whom failed to relay threat level to SS team on stage with Trump, which would have led to Trump removal from stage. U.S. Congress System of 5 minutes per Representative contributes to ineffective hearing. Either coordinate line of questioning or give time to competent attorney within your ranks. Failure to follow-up on what few key points revealed by Cheatle: 1. Why are radio Comms not recorded? Move to have security detail requirement radio Comms recorded. 2. Why was there a failure in the Comms Center when local police identified threat, assuming they immediately relayed eye witness by police officer re: man on roof was in possession of a gun, before shooting, to engage removing Trump from X? 3. If sharp shooters did not require authorization, why did they wait for assassin to fire 8 or more shoots before neutralizing subject? Condolences should be addressed during opening remarks, period. Left pontificating on gun control has no place in hearing examining SS failure. #uscongress

DAILY BONUS: The Story of the Bloody Glove *On the surface, the bloody glove that LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman found on the property of O.J. Simpson on June 13th 1994 appears to be very incriminating; however, appearances alone cannot reveal the complete story of the Rockingham glove; forensic science can. *Is the bloody glove the smoking gun that proves O.J. Simpson’s guilt - or do the forensics point to a more sinister episode with the right-handed glove? https://lnkd.in/eajzsB46 Item: Contradictions With Regard To The [Right-Handed] "Bloody Glove". First, it is important to note that neither the O.J. Simpson case prosecutors nor his defense attorneys did a theoretical full reenactment (by whatever means, even on paper) of what O.J. is accused of doing - up to the point of supposedly dropping the bloody glove on his property. If the defense had done as such, the case may have never gone to trial. *There is no blood on the fence where O.J. supposedly jumped over prior to dropping the bloody glove. *There is no blood on the (undisturbed) bushes near the fence. *There is no blood on the [right side] of the steering wheel of the Bronco that O.J. drives. *There is no blood on the gear shifter of the Bronco that O.J. drives [that is on the right side]. *There is no blood on the Bronco keys or near the ignition [that is on the right side]. *Combined, there is less than one drop of blood inside O.J.'s Bronco. *The blood on the glove is still wet several hours after the murders - when it should have dried hours earlier (under the outdoor conditions). Conclusion: The [right-handed] bloody glove is planted - as there is no supporting evidence to prove otherwise. [There is no evidence that O.J. is in possession of the gloves during or just after the murders - before one side is 'found', actually planted, on his property]. Why would a police officer plant evidence against a potential suspect without knowing if the suspect has an alibi? The simple answer is that when you have been doing something [wrong] for a decade or decades - without any repercussions - and you think that you are right [Fuhrman previously was called during a domestic disturbance between O.J. and wife - and Fuhrman is also rumored to have dated O.J.'s wife after incident], all illegal actions become standard protocol. [Reference: LAPD Rampart Scandal]. https://lnkd.in/eUzGC_Hu Item: O.J.'s cut on his left middle finger is medically examined [at trial] and determined to NOT come from a knife (another falsity for those who claim that it was cut during the murders). [As well, the black cap found at the Bundy crime scene had hairs that did NOT have dandruff - but O.J., at the time, had dandruff].

Most people have never had to think about “What should I do if a detective calls?” and they are unprepared for that moment. The reality is that detectives know this and are trained to prey upon that lack of understanding. Click here to learn more https://bit.ly/3WsEoOX
