There is a lot of juicy material in Neal Mohan's last week post (Youtube CEO) Here are some of the takeaways: 🚀 YouTube has been the driver of the creator economy. 🤑 More than 3 million creators are earning money through the YouTube Partner Program. 💲 More than $70 billion has been paid to creators in the last three years. 🎞 On average, there are 70 billion views on shorts per day, and that number has grown 50% year over year. 📺 More than 1 billion hours of content are watched on TV screens every day (not cellphones or computers). 🖥 Also, YouTube has led streaming watch time for the past 11 months. His #1 vision for 2024? AI will empower human creativity... Companies are massively investing in new products, and we are starting to see different tools and even channels entirely done by AI. It will be interesting to see how creators are using this to improve their storytelling, execution, and even localization. I honestly see this happening now, especially in editing and doubling. But what will be the next AI wave of innovation in the creator economy? https://lnkd.in/djUfuMCe
This is great! Thanks for sharing :)

8moI think (and I could be wrong here) that YouTube has more podcast watch hours than other podcast platforms
