VA Seeks Contractors for Underground Diesel Storage Tank Repair The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for underground diesel storage tank repairs at the G. V. SONNY MONTGOMERY VA MEDICAL CENTER MONTGOMERY VAMC. Project Description: Repair of underground diesel storage tanks. Specifically, the project requires: Installation of three (3) #cathodic protection system anodes (mixed metal oxide impressed current). Drilling, excavation, and saw cutting for anode and lead wire installation. Repair or replacement of structure (negative circuit) wires. Replacing removed pavement and sealing saw cuts. Energizing, adjusting, and testing the impressed current system. Proper disposal of materials and cleaning the jobsite. Testing and report preparation to document compliance with regulations. Small Business Requirements: The anticipated SBA size standard for the NAICS code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) is $12.5 million. Small businesses are encouraged to respond.
