BE A GOOD SAMARITAN | Did you know Alaska’s Good Samaritan Law protects you if you have to administer Naloxone? Anyone who has taken a naloxone training is protected if they administer naloxone to someone they believe is overdosing. This means that they cannot be held liable for civil damages for giving naloxone. The Good Samaritan Law also protects the person who administered naloxone from being prosecuted for certain types of possession, use, or display of controlled substances, as long as they sought help in good faith for themselves or another person and are cooperative with medical or law enforcement officials. Have you been trained to use naloxone? Learn with our online course here: https://lnkd.in/gSQAz7iG Don’t hesitate to save a life!
