We were locked out of our own office Last month AMCON decided to seize our office building claiming that there’s an unresolved case between the owners of the property as regards rights of ownership. After a week of working from home, they reopened the building for the occupants to carry out their businesses. Yesterday they locked the building, this time in the middle of the night according to reports, and when we came in the morning the building was locked, no entrance, all businesses were halted abruptly without any notice from AMCON. It’s really sad, I mean people how can you just shut down so many businesses without even notifying the owners. We need to do better. ————————————–—————–— Meanwhile know that being a social media manager doesn’t mean you must be an expert in all the social media platforms. There must be areas where you need help from other people in your network. Don’t hesitate, build a strong network, know your clients targeted platforms and work on building them. "I had my first virtual High Five" Last week I met Mateo Hyun Suk Chang, who was amazed by the possibilities GoBrunch offers. Being able to do a virtual high five was just the beginning. Rules for registered business addresses are changing! Companies must now have an ‘appropriate address’ as their registered office at all times. An appropriate address is one where: - any documents sent to the registered office should be expected to come to the attention of a person acting on behalf of the company - any documents sent to that address can be recorded by an acknowledgement of delivery This means you're not able to use a PO Box as your registered office address. You can still use a third-party agent’s address if they meet the conditions for an appropriate address but companies that do not have an appropriate registered office address could be struck off the register.
