On the Rhoades – A 2010 Chevy Express Skoolie   This article is the story of Courtney and her fiancé CJ, a couple who, like many others, was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. They went from busy, structured lives to feeling uncertain about their future. In August 2020, they decided to pursue a dream of living on the road by converting a school bus into a mobile home. After months of hard work, financial sacrifice, and learning through trial and error, they successfully transformed the Skoolie and began traveling in May 2022. Their journey included exploring the U.S. and Canada, experiencing life on the road, staying active through fitness, and earning income through remote work and social media. Along the way, they adopted a dog, made meaningful connections with other nomads, and attended a large event, Skooliepalooza. Reflecting on their experiences, they express a deep sense of fulfillment, learning to adapt and embrace change. Can Brego Value Santa’s Sleigh? Well, in theory, YES. Okay, so this a little bit of Friday Festive Fun, but let’s give the sleigh valuation a go! Using over 1.2 billion datapoints and advanced artificial intelligence with some clever machine learning, factors we would consider include: Make, model, colour, condition and whether there had been any customisations – we suspect Santa has made quite a few modifications over the decades to the trusty sleigh, not to mention a few chimney top prangs along the way! Year of manufacture and mileage – we can deep dive into our data to see the year it was produced, registered and take into consideration how many miles it has covered … which in Santa’s case will have been billions! We’ll also know when and where it was first registered! The powertrain will also influence valuations, looking at ICE, PHEV, BEV, even reindeer powered motion! Santa really has been a pioneer of zero carbon emissions and a great ambassador for sustainable travel. And if Santa wants to develop a new sleigh design, then we can help optimise the value of this too, even at concept stage! Our technology with deep learning analysis really is quite unique.
