Celebrate change & turn challenges into momentum 🎄 This week we're gathering the Oseon team in Frankfurt for our Christmas party - and it feels different this year. I won't lie to you, 2024 has been a rollercoaster of challenges. Economic uncertainties, this autumns ongoing political shake-ups in Germany and the US, some painful client losses and a stretch of highly-praised but ultimatety useless runner-up spots in competitive pitches have put a strain on all of us this year. But as I sit here preparing for our Christmas party and our 2025 business plan presentation this week, I'm struck by how resilient our team has remained, delivering great work for our clients and supporting each other. For agencies, I believe, Christmas parties aren't just celebrations, they can be checkpoints where we recalibrate, reconnect and recommit to our shared vision. As a leadership team, it's our job to look beyond the day-to-day and imagine what the communications business might look like for us in the not-too-distant future. So as this year draws to a close, we'll use our team event to shake off some of the stress of uncertainty and then - as always - look ahead to the great things that lie ahead. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone in Frankfurt! 🎅🏼 Oh, and by the way, it looks like we've broken the second place jinx: Two major new clients are already on the doorstep to make next year a great one. My Highlight of the Year Comes Early – The NRFs Big Show is Calling! The biggest Retail Exhibition in the world is just around the corner—or perhaps not quite so close, given that it’s all the way to New York! But let’s face it: when an event sets global benchmarks and defines the trends for the year ahead, it’s a trip you simply can’t miss. And to be honest—New York is always worth the journey, especially when it’s buzzing with the energy of Retail innovation. 🛫 So, this weekend, I’m heading to the NRF—an event I’ve attended for years and would never miss. This isn’t just another conference; it’s the gathering for global innovators redefining in-store retail media and I am very proud to be a part of it. We launched this series last year with incredible success, hosting satellite events worldwide, including at DMEXCO.
