When steam leaves Akron Energy Systems’ production plant it travels through underground piping. Heat exchangers preserve the condensate by capturing the energy in the steam instead of it vaporizing into the atmosphere through manhole covers and sewer systems. This improves the overall efficiency of the system by recovering the energy and returning it to the production plant for reuse. Learn more at https://loom.ly/hzZGJpU #sustainable #communityenergy

💨 NEW WHITE PAPER: Pave the way for greener, more efficient thermal systems. Process heating is a critical part of any hydrocarbon processing. Traditionally, this heating has been done by burning fossil fuels (natural gas), but more and more plants are turning to electric process heaters. One of the benefits of doing so is that electric heaters allow for much more precise control of both the heating element surface temperature and the power draw of the system. By Jeff McClanahan from Watlow. 👓 Read the White Paper here: https://lnkd.in/e66V_qK6 #electrification #heattransfer #decarbonisation #decarbonization #heater #energytransition #emissionsreduction #carbonreduction #refinery #refineries #refiners

Whether or not we're ready, the future is now. How are you strategizing for the future with the latest emissions mandates. Warden and Armstrong can help you identify practical ways to map out your future.
Director of North American Sales and Marketing at Armstrong International – Intelligent Solutions in Steam, Air and Hot Water
California is taking a huge step to electrify industrial heat! Optimizing your system first to understand your true energy requirements will help reduce your energy needs and CapEx spend; ultimately saving money! Industrial heat pumps will be an integral part of this electrification and, luckily for SoCal, Armstrong International – Intelligent Solutions in Steam, Air and Hot Water is able to make these in Michigan so scaling up isn't an issue. Let us know if you'd like help identifying the best way to reduce their carbon footprint through thermal mapping or pinch studies. #electrification #circularthermal #industrialheatpumps #heatpumps #netzero https://lnkd.in/eef8tKCU
