I recently attended the Mobilize Women Summit and I wanted to share the following analysis of Women's Representation on GCC Company Boards (2024). The GCC Board #GenderIndex #Report 2024 by Heriot-Watt University and Aurora50 reveals that women's presence on company boards in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) remains limited but is gradually improving. 📈 As of January 2024, women hold 5.2% of board seats across the GCC's publicly listed companies, with notable variation among countries. The UAE 🇦🇪 leads at 10.8%, while Qatar is at the lower end with 1.8%.
