Founder @ SolidlyAI // Helping people run better meetings with AI

Hey everyone! Here's "Four critical components of setting great goals" from my newsletter "A Founder's Life for Me."🚀 🎯 Four Components of Setting Great Goals (1) Achievable, measurable outcomes - to use for tracking progress and ongoing motivation (2) Reasonable behavior input to achieve those outcomes - to translate my goals into day-to-day behaviors (3) Simple accountability systems - to easily track my behavior input and progress toward the measurable outcome (4) Clear definition of happiness - to act as a reminder that measurable outcomes aren’t always something you can control, and ensure I’m happy with the effort I’ve put in 🏋🏽 Applied Examples In the newsletter, I walk through specific examples of how I'm applying this framework to setting my own 2024 goals. In the first example, I apply the goal-setting framework to my newsletter and explain how I plan to grow my subscriber base. In my second example, I apply the goal-setting framework to my company, SolidlyAI, and explain how I plan to grow revenue. Recommendation: ✅ If you’ve set goals for yourself in 2024 or you’re going through that exercise now, consider how these four components apply to whatever you’re trying to achieve. Remember to remain conservative in any assumptions you make so you don’t fall short due to unreasonable expectations. Finally, make sure you’re setting a conservative goal that you’ll need to stretch to achieve, but that’s not overly ambitious. To gain a deeper understanding of how to apply these principles in your day-to-day, read the full article here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eBHNS9BN
