The momentum you're looking for is the work you're avoiding. What are you avoiding right now? 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁. The reason you're avoiding what you know you need to do 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁. Your brain is telling you: it's too hard It's too much work Wait till tomorrow to do it You don't know what you're doing You'll mess up and have to do it over 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂. It's trying to protect you from change. See, back when humans 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 at the top of the food chain, our brains served us well. They protected us from new things to help us survive. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵ose 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴s 𝘄ere 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀. But things are different now. We don't have to worry about being eaten alive because we took a new route to get to work today. But our brains don't know that. They still operate like they did a million years ago. In Steven Pressfield's book called 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁 He calls this force "𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲." "Resistance is an invisible force that is operating against you 24 hours a day trying to stop you from accomplishing what you know you need to get done." Your brain is preventing you from accomplishing things. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘄. Maybe it's that: Video you want to publish That podcast you want to finish That thread you just can't complete The research you know you need to do I know how you can fight the resistance. Ready for it? 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀. Example: Don't overwhelm yourself by saying you have to have a video published by tomorrow. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽? 1. Figure out the topic 2. Create an outline 3. Write one line of the script 4. Now write another line of the script etc etc. Before you know it, you'll have an amazing topic A first draft of a completed script and you're halfway home already Keep it simple and only work on what's next. Do not try and multi-task. Our primitive brains hate that too 🧠 Now that you know how to conquer resistance, what are you going to work on today?? Believe in yourself Surround yourself with others that do too Cut out ✂️ the negative people or if they’re your “loved ones” limit the interactions .. Negativity is poison and must be avoided and understood at all times!

I have deep compassion for those who “hurt” because I am aware of how hurt they are themselves … I have it for those who attempt to hurt me … revenge isn’t something I spend energy on and early in my life something that someone did to me that was dark, mean, wrong, was met with indifference .. today it is met with sympathy.. unfortunately a lot of people reading this meet that action with their own darkness back and are consumed by the hate and want to hate back .. I hope this gives them a different perspective ❤️❤️❤️❤️💛
