When we look at mobility in Wolverhampton, it’s all ran and decided by people in 16 summer lane, who don’t really understand our needs or wants or get what people actually want. Or decide we need an nBus ticket at £4.50 now whereas the NXWM daysaver cost £4 (bear in mind NXWM run 78% of all bus services in the West Midlands from Codsall to Leamington Spa!) Imagine electric articulated bendy buses running frequently, with modern interiors, zero emission drivelines, and without the need for major infrastructure? Single floor access so people of all ages and abilities can access it easily with short dwell times. A New Cross hospital medilink? Well Volvo have the solution. It will take six minutes of time but it’s worth looking into this. If we are serious about meeting net zero, we need to look at this. https://lnkd.in/eNcHNRgu
