There are a lot of hidden histories in education that we still need to uncover and, to borrow loosely from Paulo Freire, you are the best expert in your own history within education, so what missing stories do you think need to be told? Why not tell them yourself? Help the Organization of Educational Historians tell the missing stories - attend the “From Prosposal to Publication” session and learn more how your work can help restore history within the history of education that we have missed. #History#Education
Mark your calendars! Our second annual virtual workshop "From Proposal to Publication" is Saturday November 16, 2024 from 10am-12pm EST. Graduate students, junior faculty, and anyone interested in learning how to transform your OEH conference proposal to a manuscript submission to The American Educational History Journal are encouraged to attend! Please register here https://lnkd.in/eKD8sQdp and email OEHMembershipcoordinator@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Reposting in case there are any young coastal engineers in my network who are sitting on a good abstract :)
From the YCSEC-A website: "As long as you are an undergraduate, graduate, or post-doctoral researcher, or at an early stage in your career within industry, government, or consulting, and your work is related to coastal science and/or engineering, no matter if you are just getting started on a project and only have the future plans to present, or you’re days away from defending your Ph.D. dissertation, this is the conference for you!"
