When I was offered the opportunity to chair this round table Plastics Live, I eagerly accepted it. I believe that in order to promote and advance Additive Manufacturing/ 3D Printing to a wider audience, it is crucial for us to participate in events that are not solely focused on AM. This way, we can educate a wider audience about the possibilities and potential of #3dprinting. Personally, I have always emphasised that 3D Printing is just another tool in the toolbox of designers, engineers, and professionals from various fields. Rather than creating divisions among technology users, we should strive to work together, as these manufacturing processes are complementary. By collaborating, we can unlock new applications that can only be achieved by leveraging different technologies to achieve the best possible results.
