While I’m settled into my role as chairman for the U.S. Dairy Export Council, I’m always amazed at just how much value we’re capable of providing to our members. Farmers may underestimate their impact on the work that we do, but the reality is that they’re involved in critical places. For example, farmers are the ones who drive the supply chain, supporting other USDEC members and dairy processors by producing the milk and other dairy products that get exported to markets all over the world. Farmer support and investment in USDEC helps our organization provide a wide range of services to dairy businesses working to establish and grow their dairy exporting business. At the end of the supply chain, that support and investment from farmers helps us create new markets for exporters. Here, the dairy products our #USDairy farmers have produced are meeting the needs of consumers around the world, helping them incorporate high-quality, high-protein dairy products into their diets.
