Why is it that when we're asked "Why are you looking to leave your current role", we're expected to say "I'm ready for my next challenge". Whilst that may be true. What we want to say is... Because It's: - Toxic - My manager is an a** - No progression - They haven't given me a salary increase in 10 years - The people are bullies Why do we have to beat around the bush? What happened to being honest during an interview 👀 #interview #recruitment
Because speaking negatively about a manager isn't going to give the best impression.
societal norms and because as I think we'd discussed about meeting people twice in busines or in life, we have a 250k old brain we get branded however right or wrong as 'traitirs' 'snitches' which in this day an age I know is crazy - maybe its time for the employers to have a look at glassdoor and check the organisation they came from if you've found a good fit and then ask them what they want to achieve in the next five years, we can't change the past

1mo100% agree with you there. I have seen plenty of interviews end badly because the candidate "spoke negatively about their previous employer". They want everyone to be honest, yet punish people when they are honest in the wrong way.
