Why am I showing you this you might ask? I realise this is what most people are doing when it comes to sustainablity advocacy and consulting. We are that store manager shouting at the dog without contextualising what was the problem (the dog was abandoned, alone and likely hungry). The store manager is not unlike most of us - living on the next kpi and expecting quick results without giving a chance to discover the potential or why the dog is behaving that way. Be that lady that took the time to contextualise, understand and nuture (the dog) and see amazng result by just letting them shine (the dog as a representation of the multi stake holder situation). The ability to empathise does not make you weak or vulnerable but it makes us human.
