Careers in sales look different. You can be a: → Partnership Manager → Customer Success Rep → Sales Development Rep → Account Manager → Sales Executive → Account Executive All are involved with sales. There’s a common theme with all these careers. No, it’s not quota. It’s relationships. Every role related to generating revenue involves creating meaningful relationships with the people you work with. As a partnership manager, I create meaningful relationships with other businesses that will likely refer business to us and vice versa. I cannot do my job if I cannot make meaningful connections with people. If you want to focus on a skill, quickly make meaningful connections. That means master first impressions. First impressions are the foundation of a meaningful relationship. If you can master those, the sales world is yours.
