Apprenticeship routes to employment are valuable to both rhe apprentice and the employer. Employers have to take the blinkers off and look to the wider applicant pool and skills base in their teams. It’s a challenge doing the juggling but an apprentice become a valued employee with in the job skills that can’t be gained via academic study alone. We All Learn in Different Ways! Apprenticeships serve as a crucial pathway for individuals who are passionate about practical skills and eager to find solutions to real-world problems. Everyone who wants to learn should have the opportunity to do so in a manner that suits them best. Therefore, it’s essential to inform people about all available options. Unfortunately, there are still many who believe that the A-level and university route is the sole worthwhile choice after GCSEs. Some even consider it the more prestigious path. However, my experience has shown me otherwise. I’ve had the pleasure of working with exceptionally talented young engineers who excelled in school and yet chose the apprenticeship route. The AMRC Training Centre offers incredible opportunities, and we’re fortunate to have such an outstanding engineering and manufacturing hub right on our doorstep. In my view, every form of education is valid. As long as an individual is determined to succeed, they will achieve their goals. Education comes in various forms, and each person’s journey is unique. Whether through traditional academic routes or practical apprenticeships, Everyone deserves the chance to excel. #apprenticeships #engineering #manufacturing
