IMO one of the core ways politics strays back into the "sanity" lane is via constituent communication. Each election cycle the landscape becomes more and more clear in that whoever is the best "communicator" will have a massive election advantage: "About six-in-ten Americans say that if they contacted their member of the U.S. House of Representatives with a problem it is either not very likely (40%) or not likely at all (21%) they would get help addressing it. Just 7% say their representative would be very likely to help, while 30% say this would be somewhat likely."

Trump Criticizes Jewish Voters for Supporting Kamala Harris “Should Have Their Head Examined” Former President Donald Trump has sparked controversy with his latest remarks, claiming that Jewish voters supporting Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming elections "should have their head examined." This statement has drawn significant backlash and criticism, as it targets Jewish voters and their political choices, reflecting the intense political climate leading up to the election. Trump's comments have ignited a heated debate about political loyalty and voter choice, raising questions about the impact of such rhetoric on the upcoming election and its potential influence on Jewish-American voters. The controversial nature of his remarks underscores the divisive nature of current political discourse 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭: 𝐖𝐞𝐛:https://lnkd.in/daFPKk-j 𝐅𝐁:https://lnkd.in/db7yUgnv 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚:https://lnkd.in/ds57w3mu 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧:https://lnkd.in/dRmzgszV 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫:https://lnkd.in/d_XXdaMh 𝐅𝐁𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩:https://lnkd.in/dVctriiZ #Trump #KamalaHarris #JewishVoters #ControversialComments #PoliticalDebate #Election2024 #TrumpRemarks #VoterChoice #PoliticalRhetoric

In pre-debate commentary on #Kamala Harris's 2024 presidential campaign to two-part special by Global News #Taiwan, I indicated that a lot of Americans don’t know her policies, so they are willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. All she needs to do is limit any policy discussions until early voting is underway. Democrats vote in early voting much more than Republicans, so by the time she says anything objectionable, it might be too late to change the course of the election because the early votes will already be in. Debates can be important for influencing undecided or independent voters. This is where Harris needs to do just well enough to gain support of undecided or independent voters in three or four of the Battleground States who are on the fence about #Trump. https://lnkd.in/esGi_wTY

"The Primary Solution: Rescuing Our Democracy from the Fringes" (2024), by Nick Troiano In 2022, 96% of all Colorado’s incumbents were re-elected; 100% were for the federal legislature (https://lnkd.in/gDZYcPA4). Yet, in a July 2023 survey, 85% of Americans expressed a belief that elected officials do not care about what they think/want. Furthermore, “When it comes to what Americans think motivates today’s elected officials 63% say that most or all of them ran for office because they wanted to make a lot of money … only 15% say most or all wanted to serve the public. And a large majority of Americans (85%) say that the cost of political campaigns can make it hard for good people to run for office” (https://lnkd.in/gBmDcUGu what-people-like-them-think/). “Elected officials” is the tip-off. Why do WE keep electing officials who we believe don’t represent us?!? Is our election system faulty? "The Primary Solution" offers a compelling alternative for “modernizing partisan primaries”—one that in Colorado, for example, would be more responsive to the almost 49% of registered voters who identify as Unaffiliated and “Third Party/Other."

Vice President Kamala Harris would be President Joe Biden’s natural successor if he bowed to growing pressure and stepped aside as the Democratic candidate in the 2024 election, top Democrats say. Recent polls suggest Harris could do better than Biden against Trump, the Republican candidate, although she would face a tight contest. A CNN poll released on July 2 found voters favor Trump over Biden by six percentage points, 49% to 43%. Harris also trailed Trump, 47% to 45%, within the margin of error. It also found independents back Harris 43%-40% over Trump, and moderate voters of both parties prefer her 51-39%. #USElections #KamalaHarris #DonaldTrump #JoeBiden #UnitedNations #UnitedStates #JoeBiden #USPresidentialElections2024 #trending #trendingnow #virals #viralposts

Thoughts on the #US coming #presidential election; The #Democratic #Dilemma The #Democrats are at a crossroads, President #Biden 's memory lapses have led to growing calls from prominent Democrats and the donors for him to step down. This has caused a lot of division in the party. However, the questions to be posed are; Five (5) months into the election, which presumptive democratic presidential candidate has the political clout and a winning chance against fmr. President #Trump in the forthcoming election? Can VP Harris be the presumptive nominee or would she be passed over should President Biden drop out from the race? Who will be the VP pick for the Democrats? Can the former Governor of California Gavin Newsom rise to the occasion? Is the US ready to elect the first woman (of colour) as the President of the United States? As it stands, if the election were held today, I don't see the possibility of Democrats winning because the party is divided, and with the power of incumbency at stake, finding a winning team for the Democrats in the coming election will be slim but politics can string up surprises!

An insightful examination of the dynamics of the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Swing voters are poised to play a pivotal role in this closely contested race between familiar contenders, underscoring the significance of individual participation in the democratic process. It's noteworthy that many people today may not perceive the impact of every single vote, possibly influenced by bipartisan politics and the repetitive profiles of the candidates. Nonetheless, I look forward to witnessing the unfolding of this historic rematch. #ElectionInsights #DemocracyAtWork

Tim Walz is the new pick to serve as Kamala Harris running mate in the United States elections! This news has not been well received by Donald Trump campaign, and to analyze the entire scenario leading up to the White House, I gave an exclusive interview to CNN to delve deeper into the matter. The first point I'd like to share with you is that this decision rests on three pillars: 1. The political aspect 2. The electoral aspect 3. The personal decision Given this choice, JD Vance, Trump's running mate, has made claims that Harris is "extremist," which has caused significant repercussions, particularly among Trump's base. However, a narrative like this struggles to resonate with independent voters who neither lean towards the Democrats nor the Republicans but are a crucial group for Trump to secure the election. In my discussions with Democrats here in Washington, I found that the choice of Walz as Harris running mate might have been greatly influenced by the fact that he belongs to a political group that accommodates various factions of the party without causing internal conflicts. In other words, in my view, this was a very political decision! From now on, it will be essential to follow how this choice impacts the polls, and my team at Zaftra Fund powered by Gauss Capital and I are closely monitoring this race for the White House. I strongly recommend watching the full analysis I provided to CNN here >> https://lnkd.in/eXHhSQCg #PoliticalAnalysis #USPolitics #Election2024
