Resilience, cost effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability - a Supply Chain Leader's increasingly complex balancing act. From a sustainability perspective, generally Supply Chain functional areas are categorized as Scope 3 emissions often representing the majority share of an enterprise's Carbon Footprint - these emissions could be coming from Inbound Purchased Goods & Services, Capital Projects, Outbound Distribution and Logistics, or Reverse logistics. We are seeing leaders struggle to not only quantify their baseline, but to measure actuals and identify levers necessary to move toward decarbonization.
