Do changing material properties affect your product quality in incineration bottom ash and fine grain applications? The newest add-on for our eddy current separators called STEINERT Splitcontrol could be your solution! 🚀   For almost four decades, STEINERT’s eddy current separators have formed the backbone of recycling plants around the globe. A new upgrade now increases sorting efficiency and reduces the number of manual splitter corrections needed.   STEINERT Splitcontrol counteracts automatic changes in the material properties, such as residual moisture, grain shape or conductivity Splitcontrol ensures consistently high yield rates and high operational stability. 🔥🌧️   This is how it works: A laser grid is used to monitor the variance of sorted product in the eddy current separator’s discharge zone. The different discharge parabolas of the conductive NF metals and the unaffected non-conductive residue (drop) are assigned via software. By automatically controlling the belt speed, the discharge parabola of the drop proportion is always led close to the separating splitter, meaning that the sorter can always be run to deliver optimum separation. 🔬   STEINERT Splitcontrol can be incorporated as an additional option when configuring a new STEINERT non-ferrous metals separator. Retrofits are possible as well. This versatility allows users to better exploit the potential of existing systems or benefit from the advantages from the outset.   Maintaining and cleaning the Splitcontrol add-on are also simple and efficient tasks: a removable casing permits access from the outside so that all the work required can be carried out while the splitter is still running.
