💡 ❓ Did you know that heating and cooling account for about 50% of the final energy consumption worldwide? This is far more than conumption of electricity (20%) and transport (30%), according to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Heating and cooling also create more than 40% of energy-related carbon emissions, the Agency says. Meet Julien Gennetier, President Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers, Alfa Laval in this interview with the Energy Efficiency Movement, sharing insights on this important topic. “We have identified the potential to save up to 700 million tons of CO2 a year, up to 2025, and over 1 billion per year all the way to 2030,” Gennetier says.
