Hi, welcome everybody to Inside Alivi. My name is Kimberley Perera and I'm a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist here alongside is Hector Alzate and he is a Logistics Coordinator II for the non-emergency medical transportation department. How are you doing today, Hector? I'm doing good. How about yourself? I'm doing great. Thank you for asking. So we brought you in today just to talk to you a little bit about your position and your growth within the company. So that being said, how did you start your journey here? What motivated you to start working here at Alivi? So I was always looking. to kind of fit myself into a company that I could grow in, and I started off as a CSR with that goal. Overtime I was able to learn a lot and grow and was given the opportunity to start at Logistics Coordinator 1, which is the entry level position in that department. From there I've been able to very quickly learn how transportation works and I was also given the opportunity to be Logistics Coordinator II. Now taking care of an entire region. How exciting. So what exactly does the Logistics Coordinator II really like entail? So as Logistics Coordinator II, I make sure that each of my counties in South Florida are taken care of as far as transportation. That each member is being taken to their appointments on time and also that transportation is being assigned on time. Also making sure that the transportation is performing as they should. Nice. Sounds like quite a responsibility there, that's for sure. So now that you're in this particular position, do you still see the growth plan within this role like you did for your previous roles? I do, I still have much to learn, but I do notice even starting from a CSR standpoint, I was able to experience first hand how the members are. Then as a Logistics Coordinator I, I was able to see how the transportation side of things are and logistics too. Has helped to broaden my horizon to see how an entire county works. The main thing I've learned in this company so far in the positions that I've been in is the call center is kind of like the brains of the operation, always gaining all the information needed, while logistics is the heart and soul of transportation, making everything work. If one fails everything counts, but you know, we never fail. That's awesome and that's very reassuring. So now what would you say, given that you're in charge of, you know, such a big county, what would you say about your managers? Do you think that you're like well supported to, you know, handle those types of responsibilities? Yes, they've always been very supportive of my growth. Starting off with the management at the contact center. I made my goals very clear that I wanted to grow and they were very supportive of it. They taught me a lot. And they pushed me to be better. In logistics, I've experienced the same. They pushed my growth. They know that I'm eager to learn. So they put me out there. They give me tasks set that give me the opportunity to learn. I make mistakes, they help me learn from them. That's amazing. Honestly, it��s really important to have a a support system, especially given so many responsibilities. What do you think differentiates us as our services in comparison to other companies? What, what's really the difference between Alivi and every other company? So Alivi has been very good with kind of moving forward with technology. They like to update things as much as possible, but still they try to keep that human element rather than trying to replace that human element with technology. No, the way that technology has been advancing, people don't really realize the importance of having that personalization. So I couldn't agree more. But basically, thank you so much for being here with us. It was an absolute pleasure hearing a little bit about your position and all the growth that you've done.
