Additionally, clinical trials have shown statistically significant results with the inexperienced, first-time users generating 77% bigger tidal volumes, 101% higher end-tidal CO2 readings, 36% higher ventilation pressures, and no failures with the ~Tulip Airway. This translates into 125 – 250% more Oxygen with hands-free, direct-connectability in times of acute emergency, as adequate ventilation was achieved in 60 out of 60 users (100%) with the ~Tulip Airway. Have a wonderful and successful day, dear colleagues. Patient safety, is not only an absolute matter in our work, but also the highest priority. Much has been described on the safe performance of regional anaesthesia. Personally, I devour every single novelty, that leads to an increase in the safe execution of blocks. Whether it is a check under ultrasound, stimulation, checking the pressure of the administered mixture, or regular aspiration. Personally, I have developed for me a simple way to increase the safety of regional anaesthesia. I have found that the application of continuous negative pressure, which immediately, after insertion of the needle under the skin, begins to be performed by a trained nurse, only after reaching the point of application, where the negative pressure is released and carefully performed, before the application of local anesthetic, has increased the level of safety of the entire procedure for me. I have to admit that this method has saved my neck several times 🙏🏻, when manipulation near a blood vessel led to drawing blood into a syringe with local anaesthetic. 😎 What do You think about it?
