Without these facts, you couldn't succeed in affiliate marketing Remember this: Whether you're selling via TikTok Shop or driving traffic to your DTC website with influencers, the type of affiliate program you choose can significantly impact the outcome. 🌼🌸 Firstly, your influencers can vary significantly! How can they differ? → TikTok algorithm can greatly assist in traffic to your TikTok Shop. If content becomes trendy, expect many transactions, as it is a closed ecosystem with the native checkout. → Driving traffic to your DTC website requires influencers with whom you have relations cuz social algorithms don't prioritize this content AND there are more clicks to purchase. 🎯 Secondly, it's important to find creators that align with your brand. Take the beauty industry as an example: There are so many beauty influencers. But if you're a beauty brand, don’t just hire any beauty influencers. Consider pitching your values and aligning them with influencers. ↳ You can find advocates, not just affiliates. I.e., if your brand stands against animal testing ↳ partner with influencers who share this belief. Their audience will resonate better with your message. 📸 Interesting recent tip for TikTok Shop: - Hire influencers who can create UGC for ads, not only promoted posts. The organic part is important in the TikTok Shop BUT The real scale happens through Spark Ads. 💰 Another key aspect is the offer for the influencer. Higher commissions attract more influencers and show OUTCOME potential. Affiliates are here to make money!!! Offer more at the beginning, then negotiate less once influencers see volume and potential. This generates more interest than a fixed fee less upfront later on If your brand is less well-known, compensate influencers for their time, ↳ starting at $30 - $100 Approach this payment as you pay to build your creative library that you can repurpose in ads across any platform (if it comes via platforms like Insense).
