Base on current situation happening in the cyber space, cooperate offices, airports etc that have Microsoft running have had their computers crash. whiile some companies preemptively did not turn on their computers this morning ( lucky decision). We know that the death loop appears on computers that have the "next generation antivirus" from CrowdStrike installed. The reason is a faulty update. It won't fix itself because the computer won't get up. You need to enter safe boot or recovery mode and rename the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike\C-00000291-00000000-00000032.sys #globalITproblems #cyberoutage

The recent CrowdStrike issue has caused a widespread outage impacting businesses globally. This cyber crash has been labeled as the largest IT outage in history, affecting critical services such as airports, supermarkets, and emergency services. Millions of Windows machines are currently facing a Blue Screen of Death problem, disrupting operations for banks, airlines, TV networks, and other businesses worldwide. Check if your CrowdStrike sensor version is affected by the BSOD problem by starting in Safe Mode and confirming the sensor version, with version 6.58 being one of the impacted versions. Also, look at the installation date of the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor, especially around July 19, 2024, when the BSOD issues started. Keep an eye out for the error message "DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER," which could indicate that your system is affected. As a workaround, you can Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment, go to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory, find and delete the file that looks like "C-00000291*sys," and then restart the host normally. #cybersecurity #windows #infosecurity #blue_screen
