Just returning from the COSBI Scientific Advisory Board meeting. Enjoyed learning about the latest work of the team and discussing how combing new data types and #AI with their more established computational and systems biology approaches (#PBPK, #QSP, etc.) could add value to use-cases such as disease understanding, biomarker discovery, improved treatments, etc. To learn more about these topics and COSBI, this video is a great place to start... https://lnkd.in/gERSwWVB #computationalbiology #systemsbiology #modeling

Today’s Liminal Question from our Generosity Lab: Are we "programmed" to be altruistic? In one of Felix Warneken’s experiments about early prosocial behavior, toddlers as young as 14 months would spontaneously help an adult who had dropped an object or seemed to struggle with a task — even when they weren’t being watched and received no reward. This behavior raises an intriguing question: 🤔 Is the impulse to help others something innate, or is it a product of our environment and upbringing? Are acts of generosity inborn, or do we cultivate them through experience? Leave a comment here and let's explore together! (PS - To go down the wormhole and learn more about Warneken's experiments, check out this talk: https://lnkd.in/g3RJUHGy)
