Employees, leaders & business owners are saying the same thing to me; - The cost of living is stressful - Job security is not guaranteed - I want to inspire people but also find clients - I want to make a difference - It’s hard find the mental, emotional and mindset support I crave So many are telling me they feel an urge to do something with this uncertainty… shake things up, go deep with self development or connect on deeper levels with people on the same path. They want to grow and find meaningful ways to make more impact in their work, family, community - the world. Times of change and uncertainty have a way of forcing us to think differently about how we show up and the impact we make on the world. Helping Women in Telecoms Get Promoted and Become Stand out Leaders, Whilst Staying True to Themselves | Trailblazer 5 Places Jan| DEI Report & Plan | Equity Workshop | 000's global client | English Channel Swimmer 🧜♀️
𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡: 𝐍𝐨 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 A theme I hear again and again from women leaders. The feeling that no one is helping them with their career. “I’m doing it on my own” Can you relate? You make everyone look good: 🦄 Speaking on panels at events, 🦄Winning awards for your leadership. 🦄 Delivering above and beyond year on year. 🦄 Adding millions in revenue to smash your stretch target. 🦄 Your team is flying, with the highest engagement scores. 🔥You’re a trouble shooter. 🔥You pick up the hard tasks. 🔥Have awkward, difficult conversations. 🔥Manage endless rounds of redundancies. 🔥Resolve the latest burning issue with one idea. 💥For your team, you are their champion. 💥You clear obstacles on their behalf. 💥Use your network to lobby for them 💥Tirelessly support their development. 💥Find perfect opportunities for them. Yet no one is helping you with your career. Despite giving so much for so long. Sacrificing your time and energy. Putting your family second and making decisions that impact on them too. No one is offering you the support you so willingly give to so many others. There is no one from HR saying, “this is our plan for you.” The truth is no one is coming to help you. There’s no one coming to save you. No one cares about your career the way you do. I say this with love. Because I’ve been where you are. It’s yet another way women leaders are let down. When you reach the top, you don’t fit. Your organisation doesn’t know what to do with you. Your questions about what next remain awkwardly unanswered. This is my call to arms. It’s time to take control. To get clear on where you want. Learn how to become a stand out leader. And create a path to promotion. If you’re a woman leader ready for that next step, but tired of doing it all alone. Doors to my women leadership programme, Trailblazer will open in September for just 5 women. You can relax and enjoy summer knowing you have help and support coming. Comment below or DM me now, with the word Trailblazer if you want me to send you some more info. PS picture of me laughing, because we will do this together through tears, smiles and lightbulbs! Let's go!

Let’s keep the momentum going for Women’s History Month, and today, International Women’s Day! 🎉 If you’ve been keeping up with ClearEdge, you may have noticed that we launched a new division in 2023 called ClearEdge Rising, led by SVP, Ashley Andersen, MSW. We are so grateful for the companies and women that have invested in their teams (and their own) growth. Together, we are building stronger, more diverse pipelines, for our future. The business case for this has never been stronger. With data showcasing the increase in innovation and profitability as a direct result of investing in women’s leadership development, now is the time to take action. We all have a responsibility to contribute to the advancement of women, and one of the key ways to start is by investing in women’s leadership growth and development. Over the last year (well, really 17+ years!), we have been dedicated to empowering women in leadership and helping companies achieve more diversity across their leadership pipelines. Most recently, we announced our expanded suite of services, including 1:1 coaching, leadership workshops, and our existing vibrant leadership development community—all designed to elevate women in leadership and foster inclusive workplace cultures. We believe in our mission so much, in fact, that we want everyone to have the opportunity to be a part of it. Why? Because we know that true diversity requires more than just increasing the number of women in leadership roles. It involves addressing issues such as overwhelming stress, burnout, and the lack of growth opportunities that women often face. If you’ve been thinking about investing in leadership development as a key strategy for retaining and/or engaging your teams, or investing in yourself, we’re here for you. In celebration of Women’s History Month & International Women’s Day, we’re offering $250 off any ClearEdge Rising service this month. Our transformational solutions not only empower women to unlock their full potential but also provide companies with the tools and insights they need to create environments where women thrive. Interested in exploring our services? Schedule time with a ClearEdge Rising coach (in the comments ⬇️ ). And, if you are a current member of our services or have invested in our services on behalf of your team, I’d love to hear from you! Share your stories below and help encourage others on the benefits of this type of community and coaching to unlock your greatest potential. ⬇️ #womenshistorymonth #riseup #leadershipdevelopment #IWD2024

I had the pleasure of attending a luncheon yesterday hosted by the Women's Leadership Network of Dubuque, featuring a panel of inspiring speakers. Some key takeaways for me included: Getting Ahead: It is important for women to be bold, have a strong voice, and find transferable skills. Mentorship: Develop networks, understand your business or trade, and get out of your comfort zone. Mentorship does not always have to be formal—take nuggets of advice whenever possible. Flexibility in the Workplace: Flexibility is vital for everyone, not just for remote work or family needs but also for mental health. It's important to be prepared with performance measures to be able to speak to productivity and flexibility. Attending events like this fuel my soul and keep gas in my tank. It reinforced the importance of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning in our careers. Let's keep looking forward and giving ourselves the opportunity to grow. #Leadership #Mentorship #WorkplaceFlexibility #WomensLeadershipNetwork #GrowthMindset #CareerDevelopment

Helping leaders who're wired a little differently create the conditions they need to thrive | Thought partner • Advisor | Speaker | Author, "Perceptive" (2025)
I did something today I don’t think I’ve ever done in my 30+ years of work experience. I skipped two commitments. On purpose. I got back last night from two weeks of travel, part business/part personal. In one of the 5 places I stayed, I picked up a bad cold. I battled it fiercely, but the last 2 days — 4 flights and another hotel — did me in, and I came home feeling crappy. I slept almost 12 hours. Clearly, I needed it. I’m still stuffed up and feeling yucky, and I wouldn’t have been at my best at the 5-hour training session or the 2-hour mastermind I missed. But I’m already way behind in both because of the travel. The “old” me would have sucked it up, set the alarm for 6:45am and gone through the motions, even if I wasn’t fully present. My high sensitivity means (among other things) that responsibility and conscientiousness are baked in. Not feeling it? Doesn’t matter — gotta get it done. I’ve burned myself out that way too many times. It’s been a journey, but now I know better. ❣️No one will thank me for showing up sick❣️ — and ❣️nothing catastrophic will happen if I’m behind in my work.❣️ If I don’t take care of myself and my health first, I won’t be able to do much. I wouldn’t be able to lead trainings effectively, and I certainly couldn’t work with my clients or support the changes they’re creating in their own lives. One of which is to say no more often, and to prioritize self-care. Skipping two commitments today was a no-brainer. How do you take care of yourself? It will ultimately benefit everyone around you. 🌟🌟🌟 If you’re a highly sensitive woman leader and you’re ready to start · prioritizing and advocating for yourself, · living authentically, · being consistently inspired and energized instead of depleted or depressed, and · shifting from surviving to thriving in community with other amazing high-sensory women leaders, the G.R.I.T. Collaborative might be for you. The next cohort launches March 21. Learn more and let’s talk. https://lnkd.in/g5CEESR5 🌟🌟🌟 #buildingcommunity #healthyboundaries #preventingburnout #leadingwithempathy #neurodiversityatwork

By now, I'm sure you've heard the buzz about the 2024 Empowered Women's Leadership Conference. Leadership & Negotiation Coach for Women of Color | Keynote Speaker, Writer & Content Creator | Ft. in CNBC, HuffPost, Teen Vogue, Fast Company | Youtuber @ReimaginingNadia 🇵🇭
"I see now that deservingness is a choice," my client said after we did a 'cross the line' visualization. It was a moment of deep clarity for her—a turning point. In this exercise, she visualized a line in the ground that represented the threshold between where she was and where she wanted to be. The process wasn’t just about crossing over—it was about fully feeling into what was on each side of that line. On the side she stood, she found her usual comfort patterns. Safety in the familiarity of ‘just good enough’. But also, fear—fear of being judged, of disappointing her parents, of getting exactly what she wanted and then somehow failing. These are the invisible barriers so many of us face when stepping into the life and path we truly desire. We talked through those feelings, and she embodied something profound: staying in her comfort zone wasn’t about not wanting more—it was about feeling unworthy of it. The real challenge wasn’t the fear of failure, but the belief that she didn’t deserve to succeed, to take up space, or to be truly happy. She always knew this conceptually, but never felt it so deeply and saw it so clearly until now. That’s when it clicked. Deservingness is a choice. It’s not a gift someone else bestows upon us—it’s something we claim for ourselves. She decided to release ‘her shit’ and cross the line into the other side: full of sunshine, warmth, crowds cheering for her and giving high fives in abundance. This side was nothing but opportunity and possibilities. A place she could finally give herself permission to bring her dream business to life without shame. So many of us, especially BIPOC women, are taught to stay small, to not be too loud, too visible, or too ambitious. But when we choose to believe we’re deserving, we step across that line into the unknown and actively go against societal’s norm and programming to contract and hide. When we do this, we open the door to possibilities we never thought were ours to claim. May we continue to see the lines we’re conditioned to stay within and cross them unapologetically. — 👋🏽 Interested in 1:1 leadership coaching for BIPOC women & femmes? I got you. ✨ Learn more and complete the interest form to book a free call here: https://lnkd.in/gqPBZC8N #BIPOCLeaders #WOCLeaders #LeadershipCoaching #LeadershipDevelopment
